IT Security Manager
Eurovision Services (ES) is seeking an IT Security Manager for our Global Operations & Engineering team at our technology hub in Madrid, Spain.
ABOUT THE ES GLOBAL OPERATIONS & ENGINEERING TEAM
The ES Global Operations & Engineering department is the central point of contact for all customers receiving operational services from Eurovision Services, coordinating the management of requirements and delivery for all events, transmission and media services between broadcasters, EBU Members, sport federations and event organisers. The ES Global Operations & Engineering department is responsible for delivering high-quality technical solutions and achieving ambitious operational objectives, implementing reliable delivery solutions to provide outstanding value and services for our customers, while optimising costs to improve our bottom line.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The IT Security Manager is responsible for leading and managing the IT Security Team, ensuring the organization's security posture is robust and compliant with relevant regulations. This role encompasses overseeing security delivery, managing risks, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with GDPR and other standards. The IT Security Manager will also stay updated on technical vulnerabilities and coordinate timely remediation efforts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage the IT Security Team, fostering a culture of security awareness and proactive risk management.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring professional development and effective performance.
Documentation Management:
- Review, update, and maintain all security-related documentation, ensuring it aligns with contracts and relevant standards.
- Ensure that all security policies and procedures are documented and communicated effectively across the organization.
Risk Management:
- Identify security risks and develop detailed action plans for mitigation.
- Oversee the execution of action plans to maintain a proactive security posture.
Audit Support:
- Provide comprehensive support for internal and external audits, ensuring all required documentation is available and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with auditors to facilitate a smooth audit process.
Action Plan Monitoring:
- Oversee the implementation of corrective actions resulting from audits or identified non-conformities.
- Ensure compliance with all recommendations and track progress on action plans.
GDPR Compliance:
- Manage all data protection-related activities to ensure compliance with GDPR.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for GDPR compliance.
Technical Vulnerabilities Management:
- Stay informed on technical vulnerabilities and emerging threats.
- Coordinate timely remediation efforts or exception handling when required.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate must have the following experience and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in security management or a similar role, with a focus on team leadership.
- Strong understanding of security standards and best practices.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of GDPR and ISO27001 regulations.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.
- Experience with security audits and risk management.
- Familiarity with technical vulnerability management tools and processes.
ADDED VALUE
Additional experience in the following areas would be a bonus:
- Experience working collaboratively with geographically distributed and international teams (our headquarters are located in Switzerland)
- Some experience in working on live sports events in a broadcasting environment
- English is mandatory, Spanish of French is a plus
