IT Support Engineer
Eurovision Services is seeking a highly motivated IT Support Engineer to become part of the Infrastructure Team. She/he will join the Technology division in Washington, D.C., USA.
ABOUT THE ES TECHNOLOGY TEAM
The Technology Team is the driving force behind all our technical infrastructure, networks, corporate systems, and software IT. It is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the entire technical landscape, which serves as the foundation for all permanent and event-based operational services for our customers (e.g., media organizations, sports federations, and event enterprises). The ES Technology Team ensures secure functionality while delivering cutting-edge technical solutions to provide high-quality services, achieve ambitious objectives, and deliver outstanding value to our customers, all while optimizing costs to improve our bottom line.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The IT Support Engineer will manage and maintain the on-premises IT infrastructure at our Washington D.C. office while contributing to key company integration projects. Supporting a company known for top-tier live transmissions, the role requires strong networking and hardware skills, along with broad IT support capabilities. The ideal candidate pairs technical expertise with a commitment to reliable, high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and maintain the local datacenter infrastructure, including:
- Racks maintenance, physical installation of servers, switches, routers, and firewalls
- Hardware replacement and upgrades for servers, storage, and network equipment
- Rack layout optimization and structured cabling organization
Support and manage enterprise hardware and networking systems including:
- HPE servers
- Cisco switches, routers, and IP phones
- Palo Alto/Checkpoint/Cisco firewalls
- Infoblox/EfficientIP systems for DNS/DHCP/IPAM
- NAC Forescout, PaloAlto Cortex
Execute general IT operations for the office environment, including:
- Laptop and workstation deployment, installation, troubleshooting, replacement
- Printer setup and maintenance
- Configuration and basic troubleshooting of Cisco IP phones
Provide onsite technical support for users, acting as the first point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving IT issues.
Administer and support Windows-based servers and Active Directory services.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate must have the following experience and skills:
- At least +3 years of experience in a similar or related position
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Telecommunications or related field
- Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, hardware, and network systems
- Experience with Linux administration
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 / Office applications and services
- Strong understanding of enterprise networking (Layer 2/3, VLANs, routing, firewalls)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure
- Understanding of Exchange (online)
- Solid background in Windows and Active Directory environments
- Ability to support end users in a professional and efficient manner
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a hands-on, service-oriented mindset (some physical work might be required, related to equipment handling).
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with remote teams

POSITION LOCATION
The position is based at 2000 M Street, NW, Washington, DC 20036. The person might be required occasional travel to our New York Office in case of need.
